Vodaland's SLOT Drain systems are designed to look discreet while maintaining high efficiency and water flow capacity. Our SLOT Drains come in bundles and customers may choose between a sloped channel (1% slope) or neutral (no slope) option. Sloped option is recommended for longer channel drain sections, flat areas or for areas where more capacity is required. Sloped channels offer up to 3x capacity compared to neutral ones. Each channel has 90-degree connection options, bottom outlet, and easy "click" and lock connection between channels.
This particular kit features a plastic L-Type (offset) slot upstand and is rated load class C250* - suitable for anything from pedestrian to light car traffic (refer to our load class page for clarifications). Slot upstand has a 100mm visible height once placed into a channel and is suitable for block paving up to 80mm. Slot width is 13mm which accommodates even more water during heavy rain.
Slot drains service a wide range of areas including but not limited to patios, thresholds, public pedestrian areas, pavements and car parks.
*Note that slot drain must be fully encased in concrete to be rated C250.
