Please note all cast iron grates are naturally prone to rusting due to the metal’s inherent properties. To help prevent rust, we apply a protective KTL coating which offers temporary resistance. However, the rate at which rust develops depends on several factors including humidity, traffic exposure, cleaning frequency, and maintenance practices.
Surface rust does not affect the strength or functionality of the grates. For customers wishing to maintain the original appearance, we recommend using a black coating spray as an additional protective measure.

Sump unit is placed in line with drainage channels. PRO DN100 Plastic sump unit features a removable silt basket and comes with cast iron grate. The unit is also reinforced with steel edges for increased durability. It's compatible with Vodaland's PRO DN100 Plastic channel drains only.
