Please note all cast iron grates are naturally prone to rusting due to the metal’s inherent properties. To help prevent rust, we apply a protective KTL coating which offers temporary resistance. However, the rate at which rust develops depends on several factors including humidity, traffic exposure, cleaning frequency, and maintenance practices.
Surface rust does not affect the strength or functionality of the grates. For customers wishing to maintain the original appearance, we recommend using a black coating spray as an additional protective measure.

Our channels will easily replace similar solutions made of plastic, polymer concrete and concrete. Due to its robust construction and outstanding water flow characteristics it is one of our most versatile products.
This particular channel package comes with 2 ductile cast iron grates (Load class C250) and is perfect for car parks and other areas with cars. The cast iron grate is Anti-Slip and provides good tyre grip. End caps are not included in the package.
